“Green consumption” is the purchase and use of environmentally friendly products that do no harm to human health and do not threaten the natural ecosystem. That’s why eco-friendly products were born and prioritized.

Eco-friendly certifications in the interior industry

Catching the trend, design companies also put much focus to the question of whether the materials used in their designs are really suitable for the status of today’s environment. In addition to the basic features and aesthetics, the product must also ensure that the sources, raw materials and production process meet quality standards and do not cause harm to the environment.

 

Following the aforementioned demands, eco-friendly certificates were born to ensure that products and production processes meet strict standards of public health and safety. Products possessing such certificates will help consumers feel secure and confident.

 

Some typical certificates showing the product’s environmental friendliness include:

GreenGuard

The product has Greenguard certified means it meets strict standards for chemical emissions to the environment (e.g. VOCs – 0.50 mg/m³, Formaldehyde – 61.3 µg/m³), reducing air pollution. indoor air and the risk of chemical exposure.

FSC

FSC is an international standard that shows that the product meets the criteria of sustainable development, ensures that the volume of forest use is within the allowable level and does not affect the society. In addition, this certificate also shows that the wood product has a clear origin.

 Carbon reduction label

Carbon reduction label is a symbol that shows a product’s reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and ensures an environmentally friendly production process. The symbol serves as a reference for consumers to decide on which item of a product or service they should purchase.

Green Label Singapore certification helps identify products that are environmentally friendly and meet certain environmental standards set by the Singapore Environment Council.

ISO 14001

“There is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving” –  Henry Drummond!

An annual activity: our prayed trip located in Our Lady of Ta Pao and Thay Thim Pagoda combined with a charitable activity; this is a significant time that we live slowly step back, think and listen to our hope together, and keep our promise in magnanimous purpose “give & take”.

Hue Duc Pagoda is an orphan’s home where the temple abbot teaches and brings up children to help them have a better life. We visited Hue Duc Pagoda to organize a charitable venture on 16th, July 2022. Had a chance to converse with the temple abbot and the nun, we hope our presents could be supported a part of children’s life.

I. COMPOSITION

»acrylic couture« is casted starting by only optical-class methyl methacrylate virgin monomer, manufactured in the EU under EU rules and standards.

PURE CAST METHACRYLATES included 99,7% of polymethylmethacrylate homopolymer (PMMA) and the rest of 0,3% additives. Modified with special nanoparticles for the extremely efficient scattering and reflection of light. “Cross-linked” polymers for higher resistance to scratching and many chemicals compared to conventional PMMA.

Meted PMMA and mixed glitters and resin, they are filled in hollow casts and poured into the reactor. Each panel is hand-made and unique, a wonderful piece of art, incomparable and gorgeously beautiful.
